Chief Football Reporter
Tom Morris is the Chief Football (AFL) Reporter at Channel 9.
Tom is Melbourne born and bred. As a kid he played cricket, football and soccer, and now his sporting attention is mostly focused on cricket and golf.
But it's Tom's love of sports media which has seen him break some of the biggest stories across AFL and cricket in recent years. He cut his teeth working at St Kilda Football Club, before gigs at Fox Sports and SEN allowed him to develop networks and produce newsworthy content.
In 2023 Tom won the Alf Brown Award for the best performing media person in the AFL landscape. He loves all forms of modern journalism: podcasting, writing, TV and radio. When he isn't playing or reporting on sport, he enjoys spending time with his wife, family and close friends.
