Manly Sea Eagles NRL Team
The Manly Sea Eagles NRL team is based at Narrabeen, on Sydney's northern beaches, and was founded in 1946 and was admitted to the NSWRL premiership competition in 1947. The Sea Eagles briefly merged with the North Sydney Bears to form the Northern Eagles, who competed in the NRL from 2000 to 2002 before the licence was returned to the Sea Eagles in 2003.
